Grönstedts - Redesign

Pitch - 2016

The brief was to redesign Grönstedts cognac, and present two different tracks, a classic and a daring and modern. I was happy that we where one of the agencies that had been chosen to pitch for such old and fine Swedish brand.

With the daring and modern track my main thought was to let the drink speak for itself, and that the fine color of brandy would emphasize the drink's pride in itself. Contemporary and tradition in a flow together with a gold foil directly printed on the bottle.

With the other track, the more classic one, I worked with words as direct, classical, modern and proud. With a strong paper base and a proper embossing with gold foil to the bare design I created a balance that does not encroach on the sense of its heritage.
